Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC)

Ang Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) ay isang non-ionic cellulose eter na ginawa mula sa natural na polymer cellulose sa pamamagitan ng etherification. Ito ay isang walang amoy, walang lasa at hindi nakakalason na puting pulbos na bumubukol sa isang malinaw o bahagyang maputik na colloidal solution sa tubig. Ito ay may mga katangian ng pampalapot, dispersing, emulsifying, pagbuo ng pelikula, pagsipsip ng aktibidad sa ibabaw, pagpapanatili ng tubig, pagprotekta sa colloid at iba pa.

1.Hot-dissolving Type :

Kapag ginamit sa mga produktong dry powder tulad ng putty powder at cement mortar, magkakaroon ng clumping phenomenon sa mga likido at coatings. Hindi inirerekomenda para sa paggamit sa mga likido at pintura

2.Instant-dissolving Type :

Ito ay mabilis na nakakalat sa malamig na tubig, at ang lagkit ay nagsisimulang tumaas pagkatapos ng ilang minuto, at ang lagkit ay unti-unting nagiging mas malaki at inilapat sa likido.
