Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC)

Hidroksipropil metil selüloz (HPMC), eterleştirme yoluyla doğal polimer selülozdan yapılan iyonik olmayan bir selüloz eterdir. Suda berrak veya hafif bulanık bir koloidal çözelti halinde şişen, kokusuz, tatsız ve toksik olmayan beyaz bir tozdur. Kalınlaştırma, dağıtma, emülsifiye etme, film oluşturma, yüzey aktivitesini emme, su tutma, kolloidi koruma vb. özelliklere sahiptir.

1.Hot-dissolving Type :

Macun tozu ve çimento harcı gibi kuru toz ürünlerde kullanıldığında sıvılarda ve kaplamalarda topaklanma meydana gelecektir. Sıvılarda ve boyalarda kullanılması tavsiye edilmez

2.Instant-dissolving Type :

Soğuk suda hızla dağılır ve birkaç dakika sonra viskozite artmaya başlar ve yavaş yavaş viskozite artar ve sıvıya uygulanır.
